Re: The Men Who Stare at Goats
I thought this was quite a bad film. Some bits seemed to drag on for ages :/ 4/10

Re: The Men Who Stare at Goats
Went to see this with the Boyf at Silverlink last night (4pm) using my last cinema voucher. Got there late and missed out on the popcorn which was rather devastating in itself. Managed to catch the trailers though.. Cinema had about 10 people in. I have to say within about 15 minutes I had wished I had either stuck to going to see Saw 6 or 2010. So disapointed as all the funny parts were in the trailer and with a great cast lineup I expected alot more.... I have to file this now in the same category as Funny People as a never to watch again film :O(..... 3/10 for me.
Re: The Men Who Stare at Goats
I saw this today and found it far better than some reviews had led me to expect. Certainly it qualified as a perfectly normal, acceptable film if, as with Cold Souls, not a front-runner. There was plenty to amuse and entertain me along the way, which is more than some films manage to deliver, so a respectable 7.5/10 from me. I particularly relished Kevin Spacey as a villain!

Re: The Men Who Stare at Goats
I think the problem is the film is trying to make some serious points but it really didn't mix well with the screwball comedy feel of the film.
