What fascinates me on holiday (if abroad) is seeing all the film titles in other languages; trying to work out, if it's not obvious, which name we know them by - and then, sometimes, wishing I could see them. Saw a lot of unfamiliar names over the weekend but on checking IMDB since, I think the only one I'd have wanted to see is a German film with no apparent UK release date: Halt Auf Freier Strecke. They also had Barbara, but we will get that one here in due course.

You should have tried to watch Ziemlich gute Freunde, it's that French film with no apparent UK release date, the English title escapes me right now.

I didn't see that one listed - we were actually in France, and the films were a mixture of French, German, Italian and US, so far as I could tell - but mainly French and US.

I can't open them :( Need some sunshine... OH may have to go to Seattle and Atlanta for work soon. Am hoping we can turn it into a holiday. Annoyingly, though OH has free companion tickets with BA, and will most likely fly with them for work, we will probably not be able to use them as his work will insist on booking the tickets for him, rather than him claiming expenses! BOO!
