It's the kind of film that has a baddie take a hammer, but cuts away before he takes it to a guy's head.
Action violence that doe at one point hit an 18 rating, but mostly it just strong punches, kicks, and gunfire. Blood but never ashes, open wounds and stuff. Bloody not brutal, if you understand that.
I was disappointed that it wasn't guts'n'all but I do love 80's and 90's action violence and this is very much that.

I've wimped out and given the tickets away and I'm going to Avengers Assemble. Not Westfield, 10 mins from home, but O2. 60 mins away from home

preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks

If only the premiere was at the O2, close to me, I've gotta rush to t'other side of London and stand around for hours being in the bloggers patch, so probably getting nothing

Any chance of making the title of this thread just The Raid? That is it's UK title after all. The current title is just confusing. It makes it sound like a sequel.

I do miss those good old 80s/90s action films! They don't make them like that anymore haha.

I did have it as just the Raid originally.

Yes I remember that. I think it was merged with a thread a couple of weeks ago that had the confusing title.

This is how bad the violence is!
A horse walks into a bar and the bartender asks, "Why the long face?"
A pony walks into the bar and whispers, "I'll have a beer, please." The barkeeper asks, "Why are you whispering?".
"I'm a little hoarse."
