To the young woman who died during the last mile of the marathon on Sunday

But as tribute to her people have been donating to her page.
She has gone from £500 before the race to now over £240000 this morning

I just heard about her - what a horrible thing to happen. She was running for her brother who had died of an overdose. Their poor parents!!! http://www.justgiving.com/Claire-Squires2 it's now at almost £300K!

The charity she was running for will benefit greatly as she was runnning for the Samaritans. Out of sadness comes something good.

Yes, this must be heartbreaking for her family. To loose one child and then another is such sad circumstances is unthinkable.

I feel so vexed for them and know the excitement of the London marathon - my daughter did it two years ago - and have felt sick every time I think of her and her family.

Hope the money keeps coming in, it may give some comfort to her family in the future as they will be too numb at the moment to take in anything.

Why is the world so cruel???
