Re: The Voice
The final eight contestants of the BBC's talent show The Voice, including the winner, will go on tour around the country in September.
The BBC have announced that the last eight singers left battling it on The Voice will all be winners in one sense as they will take to the road together for a month-long tour.
They will visit the UK's major arenas, including the O2 in London, as well as ten other venues around the country.
Tickets, priced from £35, go on sale this Saturday 5 May, before fans even know which eight singers will make it through to the semi-finals.
By September, the singers will not be accompanied by their mentors Jessie J, will.i.am, Danny O’Donoghue, and Sir Tom Jones. They will take to the stage alone to sing their greatest hits.
The Voice finals will be broadcast on BBC on the weekend of the 12-13 May. This weekend Danny O'Donoghue and Jessie J send each of their five artists into the spotlight, and will lose an artist from each of their teams.
If anyone is looking for tickets then 02 has a presale starting tomorrow.

Re: The Voice
Are the live shows a little disappointing? It's not quite the breath of fresh air it promised to be?

Re: The Voice
There's a few artists I really like so I'm still watching but I haven't ever seen any of the previous reality shows such as X-Factor or Idol so can't really compare.

Re: The Voice
I think it's coming across a little tamer in the live shows.

Re: The Voice
I like that the coaches are mostly positive, it's better than what I've heard of Simon Cowell!

Re: The Voice
I have to confess to being somewhat bored during the show last night, the girl Ruth ann while i don't knock that she has some vocal talent's her performance was painful to my earssuperhero wrote:Are the live shows a little disappointing? It's not quite the breath of fresh air it promised to be?

Also Aleks while he is cute and he did the whole Buble thing he has a lovely voice too but i near fell asleep, i think if it doesnt start to pick up they will lose viewers soon, me for one

Re: The Voice
Aren't they trying to inject some life into it next week by getting the mentors to sing with the contestants?
I don't know I have a feeling the viewing figures will be dropping soon for the Voice.

Re: The Voice
I'm watching on fast forward, and this week no one stuck out for me. This show, now the blind listening bit has gone, is even more boring than XFactor. I expect the American version is tons better and I can't see this show lasting longer than 2 seasons.
I love So YOu Think You Dance American Version. When they brought it to the BBC it was dreadful and lasted 2 seasons

Re: The Voice
Other people have been saying the same thing too sadly, it's more boring than the X-factor. At least with the X-factor, they would purposely manufacture some drama.

Re: The Voice
Yeah they are, i was getting really irritated by the who Flipping of songs lol i think Flipping/Flip/Flipped were the most used words on the show , they are chopping and changing many a great song which would probably work if the person's doing it were great, i also think they don't need to change a great song to make it their own, sometime's you make it "you own" with the heart and soul you put into it
on a positive though (yes i have one or two)
Bo Bruce and David Julien for me were the only 2 who really shone last night, they came accross as though they really feel the music, and that is something you can't teach people you either feel it or you don't
anyway i shall stop ranting on here's hoping for improvement soon, i don't think it help's that the results show is not live that just grind's my gears
