Hello
OH and I will be in Fort William and Tobermory next month (let's hope we have some decent weather

).
Can anyone recommend things to do and good places to eat around there please.
Thanks.

It's a really beautiful area, I went to that area last year. I am going near there next week actually to the Isle of Skye, so any recommendations for that area would be gratefully received too.

We went to Portree. We went to Talisker Distillery and took a boat trip to the Cuillins.
We had a lovely fish and chips at the harbour.

It's a pain getting there, if you don't drive though.

Where are you staying at Isle of Skye?
And how are you getting there, ie which stations?

Yes, we drove to that point last year, but didn't cross the bridge. It's a long but stunning drive from Inverness.

I love Scotland too, hope you have a great time.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a cheap and cheerful holiday in the sun? I've got the first week in July off work and OH wants to go somewhere relaxing (I can't stand relaxing I can do a couple of hours and then I'm ready for the off) so looking for somewhere where I could leave him while I wonder off exploring the place, anything with a bit of culture, nice scenery/walks, quaint villages I'm open to any suggestions. I don't want to spend too much as I want to go to Berlin and Copenhagen this year and wouldn't be able to afford it if I spent too much on this. I'm forever looking on expedia etc but have no idea where to go. I don't want to go to a big city as I know that OH just wants to rest so I would be gutted if I didn't really explore everything. Thanks for any suggestions.
