oh well, will try tomorrow at 11am for the cheapest swimming ones... don't think i can afford the 725 ones even if they are available!

but i'm guessing it'll be more of the same ... lots of waiting followed by a "no tickets left" message.

lets hope there will be an SFF code for the olympics :P

I'm happy... i got Olympic tickets for the event I wanted!
A horse walks into a bar and the bartender asks, "Why the long face?"

A pony walks into the bar and whispers, "I'll have a beer, please." The barkeeper asks, "Why are you whispering?".
"I'm a little hoarse."

I'm looking forward to the Olympics as I got the athletics tickets I wanted but if last Saturday is anything to go by, the traffic is really going to be hell (as we have been warned).

I didn't realise there was an event at the Olympic Stadium and thought i would go to Westfield shopping centre. The A12 was totally blocked up, took me over 1 hour to get to Westfield Stratford when it would normally be 10/15 mins. I thought there had been a bad accident. By the time I realised my mistake, it was too late to turn back and I just had to sit in the traffic. Total nightmare and I think it was only for one event in the Olympic Stadium. Goodness knows what it will be like when people are trying to get to the handball stadium, aquatics centre and all those other venues in the Olympic Park at the same time. Pandemonium!

If you live in the borough of Tower Hamlets and you are at all interested in getting tickets for the Olympics, this is your chance in taking part in a ballot for 394 tickets in all categories:

In case people are not aware you can b*y day passes for £10 (£5 for young people and seniors), exclusive to the Paralympic Games. These give general admission to see up to five sports for just £10 in the Olympic Park or ExCel.

Surrey are still advertising for volunteers for the cycle events, if anyone is local and interested. OH and I will be away for a long weekend then - probably just as well as we might otherwise be confined to quarters, what with the no-go areas, diversions and traffic!

Tried again at 11am for diving tickets only to find that once again no tickets were left after a 15 minute wait with the message 'requesting tickets'. I think I'll give up now!
