its not worth staying up for if you are working.

The main strength of GnR are their early album songs, handcrafted by a decent songwriting team back then. The band are competent on stage but theres nothing special about their shows, judging from the ones i have seen.

Went to the Rumba Havana thing this evening, lively stuff although, gets a bit too much samey after a while, I left before the end.

And Sunshine boys, well what can I say? This is well acted, well written and funny in the hands of two great actors. Its old fashioned humour, and I think thats what drags it down for some of us - a lot of us grew up getting way too much of this kind of american odd couple humour from shows like Taxi and Everyone loves Raymond, and we reached a tolerance level for it long ago that we havent ever fully shaken off. So its funny, yes, but no more you'd see from switching on a retro comedy tv channel any hour of the day. Cant fault it for what it is, its gold star for that type of humour.

SO much free in LOndon today! Falstaffs on at Trafalgar Square. I almost cant squeeze everthing in, had to drop one freebie! If I had known about the Prince CHarles Screenings I might even have had SIX freebies in one day - thats just insane!!

Hi,

Woohoo just got tickets for the London gig but I want some advice from those who have been before via Showfilm First Tickets. The Showfilm first printout says 7pm but judging by posts here I'm gathering Guns and Roses won't be on until late. So what happens at 7pm? Is there a support act or support acts throughout the waiting? Basically, I'm kind of double booked and even if I wasn't I would not want to be sitting around from 7pm twiddling my thumbs because no one on stage. I was wondering if anyone ended up coming into the arena much later into the arena to counteract Guns and Roses punctuality issues? Im hoping that if nothing interesting going on exactly at 7pm I may as well do a Guns and Roses and follow their footsteps by being late for their gig. Any advice would be appreciate. Thanks.

turn up at 10pm would be my estimate.

otherwise take lots of food and drink in (no bottle tops).

maybe even a book/kindle/psp enough to keep you busy for an hour and a half, i am not kidding.

You will need to be at the 02 earlier to collect the tickets since the box office will likely be closed at 10pm.

Then it is up to you whether you hang around or kill time somewhere else. ;)

Make sure you check what time the doors close so you can get back into the arena though.

gutted, i was waiting for G and R tickets all day yesterday, go to bed at 11.30, get up and 7.00 and find I've missed them! so annoyed! Hopefully more will come up later, but going anyway even if don't get freebies.

We've been to a few concerts now at the 02, the box office will be closed by 10.00 so id get there earlier to pick up the tickes.

For some reason Guns and Roses always seem to get away with it

That sucks cos if you had checked just before bed you would have seen the code. I was out last night so literally saw them and booked. Sure more will come up as people prob don't want a late late night on a Thursday.

Thanks for all the tips people :-)!
