Anyone have tips on getting hm from O2 London as I have never been to a gig there before. I would normally get jubilee line to Canary Wharf but if show finishes 2.15am for example it won't be running. Would there be lots of taxis about I would prefer not to get a taxi but if it's the only way...

Never left a gig at the O2 that late before but I am assuming there are night buses that leave from the venue . Definitely a taxi rank there

I have checked on tfl and it says there are buses running. Some routes are 24 hours. Where do you need to get back to?

I have checked on tfl and it says there are buses running. Some routes are 24 hours. Where do you need to get back to?

Ideally, I need to get back to Crossharbour but it is possible for me to walk from Canarf Wharf. So if there is even a night bus to Canary Wharf that would be perfect!

That's not too far, surely there'll be a bus for you? Just check tfl.gov.uk, make sure to set the departure time to for example 2.30am and put your postal code in as the destination.

Canary Wharf is on the other side of the river, but why don't you take a bus from the O2 to Maritime Greenwich near Cutty Sark (I think it's the 188 if it's running but check TFL) then walk through the foot tunnel over to Island Gardens and from there it's a straight march up to Crossharbour. I wouldn't want to do that though in the middle of the night and would probably get a taxi.

Hm, I just checked TFL and it gives me some weird options and they take 1 hour 20mins.

I foresee chaos after the GnR gig, so I've forked out for the special River Bus they've put on which is leaving 15 minutes after the end of the gig (whenever it ends), and takes about 20 mins back to Central London.

£7 or so plus booking fee.

Cheaper than a taxi and much much quicker than a bus.

Hi,

It is saying from North Greenwich Stop D take the 108 to Abbey Lane/Warton Road
Then the 25 from Stop L towards Oxford Circus getting off at Mile End
Then from Mile End Station / Bow Road take the Route Bus 277 from Stop: H
towards Leamouth and get off at Canary Wharf and walk to Crossharbour

To get to Crossharbour take the 277 to Westferry
Then take the Route Bus N550 from Stop: WX towards Canning Town
St.Johns Park Stop: L Walk to Crossharbour

The 108 leaves at 20 past and 10 to the hour
Total Journey time says about 1 hr 20 mins

Yes that's what it gives me. Sounds awfully complicated. Wondering whether there is a bus just going to Cutty Sark so Kimalogic can walk the rest as I wouldn't think that's any further than walking from Canary Wharf to Crossharbour.
