off to Blackpool for a lovely summer weekend. shame about the torrential rain!! Am I jinxed or what.

Now....how to get hubby who hates football to take me to a pub in Blackpool to watch England at the weekend????? Will need to keep my mouth shut, as even tho will be rooting for England will still get evil looks if I speak 8O 8O
:D i with David and your OH MM but hope you get a way to watch the match. I was out with some friends tonight and the cafe we were watching the match in had subtitles on but the typist didn't have a proper grip of the language, it was more entertaining than the match. They described Ronaldo as preening proudly while peering for the ball and said the player that came on as a sub for that poor injured guy as 'a player with 80 years experience' :bwl:

The amount of chances Portugal (Ronaldo) had during the game, it's more of a relief that they went through. Czech's really didn't threaten at all... Portugal actually playing well and could well be a 'dark-horse' for tournament.

If previous results mean anything looks like Greece might have the edge tonight....

Snap! I don't like watching any team going out on penalties but I suppose they have to do something . . .

Well look on the bright side, if England and Holland aren't playing any more that means that there's less likelihood of Van Persie, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Walcott not getting injured before the Premier League starts.

I love the summer months when there's no PL, no stress, in theory, apart from 'is he going to stay or go?'.
