I would actually just remind people that this f**king greedy behaviour is AGAINST the rules of Swap Central:

SWAPPING TICKETS
A swap needs to be:
For the same movie on a different date at the same location.
A different movie at the same location.
Otherwise you need to offer up what you can't use and post a wanted ad for what you need.

It's also looking like some of you are booking any tickets you can for this film even though it's not your location because you think you will be able to swap them for the location you really want. It won't work, especially if you are after a London location. These tickets are highly sought after so please don't be selfish and hog tickets you don't need.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
I've just spotted the CATWOMAN1 code on Kerrang's Twitter page - described as "the next code". Suggests there may be more to come?
For those of you who still haven't got tickets, might be worth keeping an eye on various radio Twitter pages? In any case, I think you'll have more luck trying that than waiting for people to cancel London tickets!
Edit:
A-ha! Have spotted this post on HDUK.

Loads of us guys at Kerrang! Radio are lucky enough to be attending a special preview screening of the film next week BUT it’s not just us that are going - if you want to go to a special preview-screening too we’re giving you the chance to!
Listen out all day on Tuesday and Wednesday as throughout the day we’re going to be releasing special codes that you’ll need to input on the link below - when we release the codes a heap of tickets will become available for a short period of time, when they are gone, they are gone - so you need to be quick off the mark!
Preferred cinemas:
Vue West End, Cineworld Haymarket, Odeon West End, Odeon Leicester Square, Empire Leicester Square, Cineworld O2, Cineworld Shaftesbury Avenue and Odeon Panton Street, followed by anywhere in central(ish) London.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
Yeah, the problem is that there seem to be that many codes now coming from radio stations which only seem to carry a couple of tickets each that it's a huge lottery whether you can get there in time - I have been trying for a FMUK friend from the first code and nothing. Someone is clearly having a laugh with us.
Re: The Dark Knight Rises
I accidentally booked Leicester instead of Bristol tickets for Dark Knight hence was asking for a swap as it was a genuine mistake (both are down as Cinema De Lux and I was so excited I missed the end bit). The only reason I posted on the board was because a couple of people were offering Bristol tickets and I was hoping I might be able to get the correct cinema but as it is I'm going to cancel or try and see if there is anyone who wants them out there. I don't think that all the swaps were just greedy people! Some of us genuingly booked at the wrong cinema (and even more annoyingly both were available when I booked them I just must have clicked the wrong cinema). Oh well.

Agree with the guys in here.. People are just booking a ticket for the sake of swapping.
I'm trying so hard to get a ticket for brum..dont think its going to happen.

Some of us Book locations we can get to, but would prefer locations that have gone already that are easier to get to, whats wrong with that.

There is no problem with that if you intend to use the location you have booked if you can't get your first option.ISMADDER wrote:Some of us Book locations we can get to, but would prefer locations that have gone already that are easier to get to, whats wrong with that.
But to try and swap Leicester for Bristol or another was Portsmouth for London, is quite frankly ridiculous, it's never going to happen. It may have been booked in error, but the sensible thing to do would be to cancel the ticket you booked in error or offer it to someone looking for that location and put a standard wanted request for the location you do want.
Preferred Cinema's now Paignton or Exeter!
