Here's my spoiler-free review: http://londonfilmfanatiq.com/2012/07/17 ... ght-rises/
The final minutes are some of the best I've seen in any film in quite a long time.

102 Different free films seen in 2010 plus 2 repeat viewings and a few tv show screenings... not too shabby. Thanks to everyone for their contributions here.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
There has been a deafeningly quiet response to requests for the wanted tickets in swap central. TDKR has definitely brought out the mean side in peeps. A bit like those seagulls in Finding Nemo ...MINE MINE MINE.
I managed to get tickets for Bolton and gave them to someone in swap central. I was after Glasgow but after being on holiday last week I was nowhere near a PC and missed out on all the kerrang tickets.
Yahoo Movies competition appears to have drawn a blank too. I entered it using every email address I had.
Ah well there is always Superman eh...no...oh well.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
I wouldn't say it brought the mean side out in people, so few tickets were released each time it was a job to get tickets full stop and this film is one of the most anticipated this year. Unfortunately you haven't been lucky yet, though there is still time, but I know a lot of people have been very generous and have given and even invited others as a plus 1.rickybomba wrote:There has been a deafeningly quiet response to requests for the wanted tickets in swap central. And there has been a huge increase in the number of wanted requests - much much more than usual....

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
I was sitting for most of last week trying to get some TDKR tickets to help out but no luck, entered the yahoo comp and nothing either. This happens every time there is a huge preview Rickybomba and I don't think everyone is hoarding tickets, it's just such a high demand screening.rickybomba wrote:There has been a deafeningly quiet response to requests for the wanted tickets in swap central.
