In reference to the Ninja Assassin free preview offer on the rotten tomatoes website:

'Ninja Assassin arrives in UK cinemas on January 22nd, but RT readers could see the film first and for free in London's West End.
And as if this weren't enough, readers arriving in ninja outfits will be in the running for some great spot prizes'

Anyone dressing up in Ninja outfits? :D

I have never dressed up at any sort of events like this but always wished I have (particularly at Star Wars premieres) but I'm just not brave, I'm always scared I'll be laughed at. Not sure why because I'm often laughed at regardless :)

Alas, I'll continue to be a mouse at this preview...

Yeah, I feel the same as you, I think it would be fun to. I will try and see if my friend will dress up...then I may do

I won't be dressing up either for fear of drawing attention to myself brandishing fake weapons in central London. I also don't own any ninja outfits. Dependent on the prizes I may regret this later!

I agree jem&theholograms (great name btw!) I'm not sure we could get away with the weapons.

I was thinking that I would try to dress up (wearing the outfit under a big winter coat means I shouldn't get too many odd stares on the tube :D ) but I just double checked googleimages to reference my ideas and I've realised that I don't really have any ninja type clothes(!). Thank goodness I looked I was thinking catwoman without the ears  Anyway it might be quite difficult as I'd have to come straight from work and I'm not sure what my colleagues would think :D

If you say your friend is invisible and using his ninja skills, will that work?
I too wouldn't do the dress up stuff, if the film sucks, you're there wearing an outfit feeling a div.

After reading lots of reviews on imdb, I realised this film really isn't for me so I gave my tickets back. The film seems to polarise, some people loved it, a lot of people hated it. Will be interesting to see what others here say.

According to Wikipedia this film was made on a budget of around $40m. I'd like to know where the money went, it wasn't on the cast, and it damn sure wasn't spent on the special effects.

Anyway, back to the film.

It was violent, it was very violent, but in a Blood: The Last Vampire way. The plot was thin to say the least, and the less said about the acting he better.

If you wan a plain dumb old action film with dodgy acting & gallons of blood... go and watch Starship Troopers. That film is 10 years old but the FX look so much better.

It got a few laughs, more in disbelief rather than outright humour. Was it a good way to spend 90 minutes? I can think of better things to do.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA

After a kick ass opening, cheesy but well done, the film seems to deliver a very straight to video storyline, I'm sure I've seen the plot in about 500 Steven Seagal films (That my dad watches, before you start) and it's a shame that the ever brilliant Naomie Harris is given such a poor role.

After a while I realised that this wasn't going to be one to enjoy in the truest sense, the terrible Blood The Last Vampire CGI, the acting that, sans Harris, is bland at best, I mean, come on, Rain?
But I digress, the action, whilst terribly CGI, had it's moments, some of the ideas looked like they could go somewhere, just a shame the annoyingly overlong, and cheesy as all get out, backstory was used in, oh, a hundred other films before, mostly better.

It was a laugh though, the couple in front of me seemed to agree, just laughing like mad during some of the absolutely ridiculous action sequences.
Shame.
