The Capitol are dropping parachutes round London tomorrow (Saturday 1st Sept) for 12 lucky winners. Four will be dropped in each location!

Clue 1 - History lesson! Where did Nelson do battle? Was it at Trafalgar, by any chance? You’ll find the first parachutes in this famous Square, near the steps of the Museum, between 11 and 11.30.

Clue 2 – A popular market very near Leicester Square, which sounds like it should be covered in grass. Be on the west side of the Piazza, between 11.45 and 12.30

Clue 3 – Near the London Eye, this bridge has a name that sounds like it’s been there for a Thousand Years. Be on the Southbank side between 12.45 and 1.30

The Capitol is dropping parachutes round London today, with great prizes for anyone who finds them. Check out the notes page for clues to the drop locations.

PLEASE NOTE - Location three has changed. May the odds be ever in your favour

I went there this morning, out of curiosity and thinking that if there were any chances of nabbing some Premiere tickets, I should give it a go
I arrived 5 minutes before 11am, and found a good 50+ teenagers harbouring THG Tshirts and mokingjay pins, obviously there for the win!

I stepped aside and watched as I would not stand any chances against this youth; and indeed it got quite nasty (in pure Hunger Games spirit) when they started dropping the "parachutes". A girl got her head smashed against the wall, not sure whether she was crying out of disappointment or pain though

Concerning the prizes, even the winners had no idea what they were as they just got a "voucher" to redeem against their prizes.

imagine what the reaping things tomorrow will be like then 8O 8O

I was thinking today's prizes might be DVD related or something, maybe with an entry into a draw for premiere tickets.

I wonder if someone will jump into the river if it lands in the Thames? It's a bit dangerous though this publicity stunt....

But there might be a crush, they seem to be expecting at least 100 people for the special steelbook things, although that is just for the 'opportunity' to b*y them. And then a scrum for the goodie bags, oh I see that's a draw. But still they're expecting crowds.

I wonder if the Catching Fire Premiere tickets you can win tomorrow at the Reaping are for LA or the London premiere?

We scaled up to the top of the 02 (a dizzying but fun experience) and my name was luckily picked out of the fishbowl, hunger games style. The catching fire premiere is still a good while away but hopefully i can get in contact before them to arrange my prize. Apparently its going to be in LA! Thanks to those who wished me good luck!

The film was, as ever, brilliant. I didn't notice that much different from the original except some splashes of blood and one or two extended sequences.

And elski! thanks for sharing the pictures i don't think i would have found them otherwise, I'm the one with the red hood poking out o/

Congratulations! I am so pleased for you - some effort to climb to the top of the O2 -(not for a wimp like me).

When are you going? And how long will you be in LA?
They've told me its to be announced for now, after all i don't think they've started filming yet! But it should be around November 2013, and if it is in LA, as the organizers promised, they've said it will be for 2 nights with pa*d travel and accommodation :D

wow it's a long way to travel for just 2 nights. I wonder if they'd let you p*y for your own accommodation to stay for another few days on top of that since they haven't booked flights or anything yet you'd think they could book them to dates you request.
