Re: Weight Watchers
Wow, more amazing weigh ins and progress, people - well done! Octo - sounds like you're eating well, so you're probably fine not counting calories :)
Welcome back BB - aren't you doing well despite your dislike of exercise! Great weight loss Biggins! Have a fab time in Berlin, Diane (though I suspect you won't see this, so rather: how was it?!). Mr G - maybe play with one eye covered up!? No idea. Try another sport?
And finally, welcome omgholly! Hope this thread helps you as much as it has others - lots of the members post what they eat through the day and find it helps them stay on the straight and narrow... good luck with your journey... 7lb is a great start - you will be at the end before you know it!
PS Where have all the others gone?

Finally had the same for lunch and diner, minus the egg...Octopus wrote:Yesterday:
- bran flakes (1 bowl)
- knackis and green peas + a little bit of grated cheddar + banana + green tea
- cereal bar
- noodles
Today:
- bran flakes (1 bowl)
- courgettes and chopped tomatoes with a fried egg + chocolate mousse + green tea
- cereal bar
- sweet corn / tomato / ham / blue cheese salad + grapes
I don't count calories but I'm pretty sure I'm not exceeding 2000kcal/day
Starting to love the new exercise routine: a few push-ups and abs in the morning, right after I wake up.
I prefer not to count them otherwise I'll feel guilty not to do more... Let's say I stop when it hurts

Today:
- bran flakes (for a change) + earl grey tea
- fish + peas + banana
- cereal bar
- no idea yet. I'm working so probably a sandwich or something... will have the low fat one

Alright!!! Go BB! Glad to see you back and with a new (and may I say please) a much more healthier strategy than WW and other fad diets. All it takes is variety of FUN exercises and sensible eating. A lifestyle you can easily adopt for life. Awesome stuff and walking with your friend/OH will make it even more fun
I am off for a little jog with the hubster now and the little one! not so much looking forward to it as i seem to be getting dragged along x lol.....will make an extra effort to smile then i may just surprise myself x Thanks for your words x

Wow what stellar progression for everyone here. I'd like to humbly add myself too. I am definitely soaring with my squash playing, I am now beating a fella who has beaten me too often in the past, my last game with him yesterday I beat him 8-0 and won previous 2 matches before that. The thing is, here is the funny thing, the better the squash player I become, the less workout I am gettingSee, I can now better place the ball with quite good precision during rallies which means I have my opponent running around the court, puffing and panting to hit it back whereas before I am one running around like a monkey chasing the ball around. So what do I do? Simple, after the game I take out my stretch bands and do a quick intense workout as my opponent looks at me with a "WTF?!" expression...maybe I next time I should wait until they are gone...

I am out every night this week so will need loads of stretch band exercises now that I am the proud owner of an intermediate set of Ripcords which are still in the box that they were delivered in on Thursday, so that I can fit in some exercise.
Well done Biggins that is brilliant not only losing the weight you put on on holidays but another 1lb as well. Go girl - you are doing amazing

Re my fat/ weight loss thing it did make sense in my head but now that I have re read it what a load of tripe I write at times

Welcome back to Betty Boop who is the the lady we have to thank for starting this thread in the first place

Welcome Home, Diane!!
Re: Weight Watchers
Welcome back Diane! Hope you had an amazing time!
Today was a bit shitty:
Woke up late, no time for breakfast AND lunch before going to work so had kind of a big breakfast: earl grey, two pains au chocolate and a half, grapes
Some mikado in the afternoon
Some chicken Caesar wraps (thank you Tesco, you're gross) with a small pack of crisps, some mikado and... grapes. Original.
I told you it was shitty.
Tomorrow: will be in the bus from 10am to 6pm so no idea what I'll have a but a ham/cheese sandwich.

Re: Weight Watchers
Thank you so much and to jojojoanne too for the warm welcome back, it was absolutely amazing. I have got you a Berlin map which I can post onto you which makes planning your time so much easier. I really recommend the walking tour I learnt so much and it puts all your pieces of history together and it really is free lots of us did give money but there was no pressure on people who couldn't afford to give so it all equals out. I will post on the holiday thread before I get the off topic warningOctopus wrote:Welcome back Diane! Hope you had an amazing time!

We all have days when we eat too much but we can soon get back on the straight and narrow. As I have no fresh food in today's menu is a bit rubbish.
Menu of the day:
Fruit and fibre (300 calories)
Ainsley's cup a soup with spelt bread and 2 mandarins (350 calories)
A cereal bar (150 calories)
I will have to think of something for tonight.
Exercise of the day to be decided

What is everyone else up to today? When does the lovely Preston return?

Re: Weight Watchers
Welcome back Diane! Pleased to hear you had an amazing time. Never been to Berlin - another time perhaps so many places would like to visit.
Been eating (and drinking) far too much the last few days as it is hubby's special birthday so will have to try and cut down and walk more as not had time for much exercise.
Going to daughter's house to day to see the granddaughters and cinema tonight so will have something light at daughter's house and perhaps an omelette before the cinema.
Have a good day everyone.

WELL DONE on your 3lb weight loss last week, Biggins!!
