Managed a double tonight - That's My Boy and Shut Up And Play The Hits. Both a bit rubbish so was quite a challenge.

A weird day too.

Supposed to be going to a wedding reception but it has been postponed as the venue is flooded! Then last night James was showering and said mum I can hear rushing water outside, but too dark to see, so this morning when he was brushing his teeth looked out of the window and the whole waste pipe has come away from the stack and all the waste water was rushing into my neighbour's back yard flooding him out!

I spoke to him and he is happy for me to carry on showering and washing my hair, even though he will be flooded with waste water! He says I need to wash - bless. He's had to remove his washing on his line and wash them again, and remove his garden chair, it is soaked! Have called the freeholders, who is sending a plumber round, but it is 3 floors up from the basement - he needs a scaffolding - a ladder will be too short! :D

Oh what fun!

Well, it was either that, or use his bathroom!

As I thought, we will need scaffolding to repair the broken pipe. So it will cost and arm and leg to do that! :wall:

Yeah, I was quite surprised he was so laid back about it!
I said what about your washing, oh that's ok, we just wash it again, and your chair it's soaking wet, yeah, I'll just move it! :D
And your back yard, it's flooded with waste water, oh we can clean it afterwards! :shifty:
