Well I am pretty sure I saw one of pxc's friends in the closing ceremony (pretty much at the very end). Is that possible, prettyxcool???

I'm very sad it's over. It's been great!

Co-incidentally seems to be in order of popularity (more or less)

and waterpolo is a bit a of a wimp's sport, speaking relatively. Like volleyball, its something I could never do competitively and feel boastful about it. Also I am a cunning swimmer (I try to drink the pool before I drown _0^ ).

Medal is a medal though! (though I'd just abruptly end conversations with the mention of the medal and not the sport, if I was a waterpolo team member lol).

Bloody parade. Had to rush home to rescue OH who had locked himself out and almost didn't get back because of the barriers and road closures round St Pauls.

I have to say, I am biased as I'm a Coldplay fan,but for me, last nights ceremony was the best of all.

I loved the Mad MAx style beginning with those wonderful contraptions, all made of scrap. Even Prince Edward turned up in a scrap car, made from a Rolls Royce and a Gangsters car 8O

I thought the fact that it was one band brought more cohesion to the event, and everything seemed to flow effortlessly. All the fire stuff, dancing and ariel wire work was fabulous, felt more like being in a rave part of the time. 10/10
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks

Parade's arrived at St Pauls and the sun has come out out. Can see a little bit if I hang myself out of the window. The noise is astonishing.
