Re: Weight Watchers
nice to be back guys and to see the lbs falling off you all. Thanks for all of the advice Glassy. Like you, i have to take a break from the forum at times to get other stuff done, got lots going on at work at the moment and elsewhere in life.
Watching a film tomorrow instead of zumba but plan a nice walk at the weekend.

Re: Weight Watchers
Well done MrG on all the money you have raised for charity - that is absolutely brilliant
Plus all your health tips are brilliant. On a personal note do you know of any Ripcord full body workouts which are fairly short ie 20-30 minutes as now its back to studying time I won't have as much free time (I always study something from September until May (I only mean 3 - 4 hours a week to keep up to date work wise) then have the summer off plus DD is back at college hence the housework is mine yet again
). I am probably hard on myself as I know that a lot of people on this thread have health issues and stress in their lives to contend with but still carry on whereas I was just disorganised hence not a valid excuse.

Re: Weight Watchers
Hello everyone,
Reading your daily meal plans make me feel like a right fatty as I'm not eating anywhere near healthy enough but I also know that I wouldn't be able to stick to a diet / health eating regime quite like that so weight watchers is working perfectly for me.
I have weigh in tomorrow morning and I'm half expecting to have a gain this week as I have struggled back in Winchester as I'm home alone each night and get bored so snack. Trying to snack on apples but had a bit of a binge on crisps and biscuits the other night.
Does anyone have any tips for evening activities when you have little money and know no one in the area :S The proof shall be in the pudding tomorrow morning...!

Re: Weight Watchers
Good luck with your weigh in today omgholly and don't be so hard on yourself plus its whatever works for you eating wise. Mine is purely made up as I go along counting calories and try to get it balance but I have a habit of going for fruit instead of enough veg until I'm pulled up by MrG (he's my friend and I'm more than happy to be guided) plus I get recipe ideas off the others on this site.omgholly wrote:Hello everyone,

Would you go for a walk in the evenings or do an exercise DVD? Or have a pamper evening have a lovely bath, face mask etc and then watch a lovely film. Do you read? I plan trips etc and I have had the most fun when I have been mega skint and seeing what I can do for very little, look for deals on here as I've just booked a trip to Edinburgh from Manchester for very little with Telegraph deals.
Menu of the day:
Smoothie with a banana and strawberries (300 calories)
Garlic sausage salad sandwich with a large tomato and a weight watchers fromage frais (350 calories)
Black coffee and a large cake as its treat day (700-800 calories)
Its exercise free day as I'm working again (extra hours) after I've been for coffee and cakes after work. If I want all these trips I have to do a bit extra which I'm more than happy too.

Looking forward to everyone's activities for the day

Re: Weight Watchers
I lost 5 stone on weight watchers and now im doing slimming world. Which diet depends on which food youd miss most. I prefer slimming world because you can eat as much pasta an potatoes as you like. They were the main things i missed when i was doing weightwatchers. Slimming world has got an 'eat as much as you like' policy but its all fruit, veg and lean meats. so pretty healthy really. Im finding it alot easier than weight watchers because theres no weighing of food needed. But both diets work :-)

Re: Weight Watchers
I couldn't get my head around SW when I tried it a few years ago though have a friend who lost 8 stone on it. Only lost half a pound this week but considering I knew I hadn't been very good it's still a loss so I'm happy. Must make sure I stick to it this week and try to do some exercise :) x

Tuesday:
- 2 pains au chocolat
- Sandwich with cheese and stuff (can't remember, Prêt a Manger)
- Salmon-and-another-fish-cake with vegetables and baby potatoes and lobster sauce then apple pie with light cream
Wednesday:
- 3 Wasa with butter and cheese
- A too strange and big sandwich with salmon, prawns, cucumbers, egg, lettuce, red pepper, tomatoes... And dill sauce. Each bite was a surprise....
- Steamed then fried potatoes and leaks with chopped tomatoes and its sauce + chocolate cream dessert (i tried sone Ostkaka too, which is a local dessert. Not bad, not good)
Today:
- Bread and cheese then some homemade bread here in Copenhagen (1 slice) with one slice of cheeseand an apple. Will not have lunch as too much bread and cheese!!
Edit: had pumpkin n chili soup tonight with bread, a bit of cabbage n apple salad, and no dessert (which is unusual...!)

Re: Weight Watchers
Well done Hoppo1984 what an amazing weight loss and well done to omgholly on your weight loss. Get posting your meals as I have no idea re Slimming World or Weight Watchers and its really interesting seeing all the different weight loss programmes I have learnt a lot from Biggins re counting carbs and I just love weighing and measuring things.
I'm loving your meals Octopus - the Swedish and Danish food sounds really interesting which is right up my street. Pumpkin and Chilli soup sounds perfect for an autumnal evening (its almost autumn).
