I actually really liked the first one! The laser-dicer scene is my favourite in the entire series.
HATED the second one, mildly enjoyed the third one and found the fourth one visually appealing but spectacularly hollow otherwise.
Haven't seen Degeneration yet.

As long as P.W. Anderson is directing them, I know I'll be entertained (as opposed to P.T. Anderson *yawn*)

Resident Evil: Retribution has opened at #1 in the United States to $21.1 million. Although this is lower than the past three opening weekends, the movie will make most of it's money outside of the US, and has already made $50 million overseas.

Reports have suggested that its now hit $71 mil world wide...

I have been lucky enough (matter of opinion) to view this film already and will open a new discussion as it will contain some spoilers for peoples opinions :)

There's no need to create another thread. Just use this one, but make sure you use spoiler tags. Here's a link in case you're not sure how to use them, and for this forum, you use the second example in the link:

Resident Evil: Retribution - What Did You Think (SPOLIERS!!)

#25 Post by gpdfi » Mon Sep 17, 2012 1:49 pm

I watched this film over the weekend and was very disappointed.

The acting was poorer than usuall, the story was sub-standard and the zomibies minimal (for a zombie film).... it just seems too much like the last Blade film.
The only saving grace was the last 5 mins with the hordes of Zombies banging at the walls of what looks like earths last retreat (except for those flying thingies - where did they spawn from) and Alice getting her 'powers' back.
That film could be awesome if made right! and something I will look forward too :)

What did you think?

I'm gonna see this tomorrow at the IMAX! I wonder how well it will do at the Box Office?
