Re: The Diary Room
Just back from a fabulous night at the virgin Shorts in Edinburgh. Some really good films just off to vote. Great company, lots of free food and drink. What more could you ask for?? Many thanks Yin, wish you could have come too.

Re: The Diary Room
Went with some mates to the finals day (crown green bowling) at the Waterloo in Blackpool. The weather was sunny, I know Blackpool and sunny aren't usually seen in the same sentence, and this made for a great day. There were eight players playing down down to a winner. Unfortunately one of the finalists became ill and therefore he had to concede the game. I'm sure the winner (Gary Ellis)who has won this prestigious comp three times before would much rather have played but these things can't be helped.
p.s. There's a cracking chippy just around the corner from the venue. : )

Re: The Diary Room
Received a spam email and it was impossible to find a link. I've been looking for the right place where to post this but I can't find it.
So here it is, if it is of any good to anyone:
"The brilliant new Jennifer Lawrence film 'House At The End Of The Street' is out this Friday and to celebrate we've teamed up with SCHUH to give one lucky winner a YEAR'S SUPPLY OF ROCKET DOG SHOES AND BAGS plus a private screening of the film for the winner and 20 of their friends.
The closing date for the competition is 15th October 2012, so hurry down to your nearest SCHUH store for more details."
Best of Luck
