Re: The Knot
We managed half an hour, then we walked. Don't know what was more tedious about this - the incredibly boring story, characters and gags or the two people who sat in OUR SEATS laughing hysterically throughout as if they'd just discovered the best comedy ever.
As OH so elegantly put it: "This was a pile of shit."
I am glad we agree.
Do NOT go to see the KNOT.

Thought about going to the Bond documentary after, but it was wet, windy and cold and we were hungry, with home not far away so I am afraid someone else has to watch that for us. Spaghetti with sausages now to salvage the evening.

Re: The Knot
This was to have been my 3rd film of the day, so it seems I was right to give it a miss in favour of a night in with the house to myself and a pizza! Mind you, I had just seen the trailer (for the first time) when I made that decision... and after 2 exclusive screenings today it would have been a bit of a comedown to have to share this one with others.

Dog Shite! Second worst film of the year (The worst being street dance 2)
Unfunny and plain boring. I think I laughed about 3 times...
We had a few walkouts and it when on far to long

A horse walks into a bar and the bartender asks, "Why the long face?"
A pony walks into the bar and whispers, "I'll have a beer, please." The barkeeper asks, "Why are you whispering?".
"I'm a little hoarse."

Re: The Knot
Yet Time Out gave it 2 stars (on a 5-star system), which seems generous in view of comments here, and they do give one star or none at times.

think Haywire, double it, then add un in front of everything, then you will have your answer.

Re: The Knot
Hmmm I did warn people this was awful but a drought of free films in some areas led to people being optimistic.

Re: The Knot
Edinburgh was packed. No-one walked.
It was sort of like an extended episode of Hollyoaks set in London.
Odd. Purile. Dull. Unfunny.
However it wasn't dire and I didn't want to walk out. It was fodder and I was happy enough to sit zomie like and watch it.
3/10 from me.
