[BLOG] The Knot
Re: The Knot
Laugh? I thought I'd never start!
What a complete yawn this was. It was like Bridesmaids without the funny bits. Indeed apart from the "shits" and "f*cks" this could easily have been a lame 1970's sitcom.
Hey who stole all the green? There was a complete absence of green colour in this film. Even the grass at the church was blue! What was that all about? If I p*y to see a movie I expect the full gamete of colours, and not just pastels and primary colours. Perhaps they got a discount at the film processing stage? Oh no - is all digital now, of course.
TRIPE!
3/10
(Made twice as good for me by the gift of Dairy Milk chocolate from marjareen's lovely mum!)

Re: The Knot
Watched this at a packed Cheshire Oaks tonight.
It had a "few" funny bits but nothing that would make me recommend it.
If i had to make a positive comment about the movie it would be..
"Not the worst film i have seen this year"

Re: The Knot
Probably the second worst film I've seen this year (just being edged by That's My Boy). Utterly abysmal in every possible way. Embarrassing excuse for film making https://moviefilmreviews.wordpress.com/ ... -the-knot/

Re: The Knot
what a terrible trip to the cinema.... The Knot was appalling. The movie I switched to was marginally better (Resident Evil 5, which is saying something). After getting bored of that I walked into the Sweeney which was equally perhaps only marginally as bad. Left early. How bad can luck be lol.

Re: The Knot
Some of the cast, director and producer were at the screening in W12.
I found the movie rather cliched, completely unfunny and boring. My friend enjoyed it so I sat there with her under duress!
People applauded after the movie...go figure

Re: The Knot
Didn't have high hopes for this when I went so it was marginally better than I thought it would be. Why do they always have to have an abusive husband who is Scottish!! No one else in the film was scottish. There are plenty of other nationalities to choose from!!!

Re: The Knot
mm because hating on scots sells well in the cinema going regions of england? I suspect a fair few people in South-east England enjoy seeing Scotland as a country full of psycho fatty losers. As soon as you get a few clicks north of Hebburn people just change for some unknown reason.....
oh and Tallulah Riley is shite beyond belief. Thast the end of her career, thankfully.

Re: The Knot
Don't worry, the baddies in most films are usually Germans.

Re: The Knot
Nazis, not Germans! They make awesome bad guys.
ironic that its some of the viewers who become the Nazis when they get in front of the silver screen.
