In Gllasgow, we didn't get to see the Knot as there was a technical problem though looking at the reviews, we may have had a lucky escape 'though they are going to screen it on Thursday evening (I could give you a ticket, stuartboy!

).
However some of us got to see A.N.Other film and chose to see Looper . . . probably another mistake!
Will I go and see The Knot on Thursday ?. . .

Yes you will. It isn't fair that you be spared while the rest of us have had to endure! Haha.
You'll never know just how bad unless you see it.

Cineworld Unlimited is cheating! ;-)

Back from Glasgow showcase. Well it isn't the worst film of the year but it isn't that far from it. I did laugh at times.....at the man who was laughing like it was the funniest film of the year. Wondered if he was watching the same film as us. Totally predictable and you know they are trying to get us to laugh at some really vile moments. But fail. 3/10

Despite all the warnings, I joined Yinster + OH plus teddybear1 + OH to view this *****!
I think I have only seen 1 film worse this year. It definitely tried to be funny but failed for most people on most occasions (with the exception of the older gent who hee-hawed throughout though his wife did not seem so amused)
I am totally relieved that I did not p*y.
Marks 2/10

From today's METRO, page 41:
The Knot, DVD
Two sub-genres we’ve surely had enough of are wedding and Noel Clarke movies. The utterly grotty The Knot – that Clarke wrote and stars in but has left newcomer Jesse Lawrence to direct – joins the two in unholy matrimony and then finds another bandwagon to jump on to - half of it has been shot by the characters on camcorders, generating the kind of found-footage that needs losing. The aim, clearly, was something for everyone, the result is equal-opportunity crassness, fated to insult anyone with half a brain. Bride-to-be Talulah Riley winds up pooing in her dress (hey, remember Bridesmaids?), while “best men” Clarke and Jason Maza juggle strippers and losing the ring. The groom is Matthew McNulty, a kind of Danny Dyer Mk II on account of looking like he smells of cigarettes AND Lynx body spray. Thanks, Noel, but take a break, yeah?
