I can be greedy, but thankfully not THAT greedy :star:
:bwl: And how nice of him to cook a meal for you - I can't remember last time I had a meal cooked for me

Where are Biggins and Preston1990? Good morning to everyone and I hope that you are having a good day ClareBarr, being good havingascreen and enjoying making the chicken casserole jojojoanne.

Menu of the day:
Porridge with raisins a la havingascreen (300 calories)
4 ryvita with a sliced banana followed by a weight watchers yoghurt (300 calories)
No idea re dinner tonight but I'm going food shopping at lunchtime so will decide.

Exercise of the day to be decided - I'm rubbish when I start work late and have the extra free time.

What are you all doing today? Have fun o/

One thing I have learnt for sure browsing recent posts is that Clarbarr's boyfriend came round and made her casserole :) It had carrots and Brocolli o/ The custard pie sounded like a delicious treat, your one or two for the the week :D
jojojoanne wrote: I'm a very basic cook!! I just put chicken fillets, halved potatoes, fat sliced carrots, big slices of white onion and big slices of swede in the pot, add two sachets of colman's chicken casserole mix!! Slow cook for about 6 hours. Only two of my kids like casserole, so I normally make a big pot and freeze whatever's not eaten. I don't do calories!! I (try!) to eat sensibly and if (when!) I 'go off the rails', I try and be extra good the next day ... (this is probs the reason I'm overweight!!!)
I'm basic too, Jojo but you definitely sound more advanced than me! You dont have to count calories, just make sure you keep thinking quality calories, nutritionally, be aware, reduce fatty stuff and just estimate a caloric deficit for the week so on the weekend you can reward yourself with a treat. I like that you are trying to do that, now stop trying and just do ;) You already know what kind of portions you eat, so just reduce them slightly. For some of us, including me, calorie counting is unnecessarily stressful. I've been there. I soon realised I can just feel how much I am eating, and if I eat slow, I dont over eat, because the neuron brain signals has time to register when you are full or near full.

Also, increasing the exercise quotient will give you a fuller assurance that you are burning the calories.

Hope everyone is having a healthy week and I hope you are all monitoring yourselves with fortnightly measurements, keep on track :)

And for some of us its a hobby  (I can't help myself  )

I ended up finishing work very early so have been on a lovely brisk walk at the local water park and have come home and watched Downton Abbey on I player (that's nothing to do with weight watching but its good to watch).
Had a breaded Camemberg with salad followed by raspberries and a low cal chocolate mousse while watching Downton (400 calories).

I will try my fat measurer to see how much toning needs to be done. Got veg in now to make jojojoanne's chicken casserole for later in the week.

Is everyone else being good today?

Whatever it was I hope you enjoyed it. o/

Good luck with the weigh in Preston o/ I think that I might have put on a lb due to Saturday's excess eating but we will see.

Menu of the say:
Belvta biscuits and a weight watchers nectarine yoghurt (300 calories)
Garlic sausage salad sandwich with chilli sauce followed by raspberries and a low calorie chocolate mousse (420 calories)
Chicken and vegetable kebab with peppers, mushrooms, onions and tomatoes in a pitta bread (300 calories) 2 kiwi (40 calories)

It will be my rest day as going to see Frankenweenie tonight - can't believe how many freebies I've had this week, one theatre and 3 cinema and its only Wednesday. I'm staying in tomorrow evening which will be a shock to the system 8O

Biggins and Preston1990 disappeared at the same time over the weekend - not one to gossip but!!

ClareBarr hope you're having a good day. Have fun everyone and be healthy o/

You made me laugh Mr Glass :-) sorry for my comment posted 4 times...once it was posted, I didn't know how to undo it!! You're right though, I'm very lucky I get lots of meals cooked for me.

On the downside, I have new neighbours moved in upstairs & they're SO noisy. I was woken up just before 7am today with the sound of what sounds like baby elephants jumping, running around & screaming. Sorry I know I'm a teacher & used to young kids running around, but surely you wouldn't let them run around in the flat?!

Today seems to be a better day for me pain wise :) I'm seeing a friend & her two adorable babies later, can't wait. Exercise will be a bit of walking round town with her, & playing with her babies / toddlers, but I'll still be taking it fairly easy.

Have a good day everyone!

Clare x

Hellooo everyone.
I finally had a Filet O Fish with fries and diet coke last night :)
Today is a looong day at work, so bowl of cereals this morning + cereal bar in an hour before starting work.
Savory cake (red pepper, cheddar and olives with a little bit of stilton) + salad (lettuce, cherry tomatoes, prosciutto, mozzarella) for lunch.

Be good, have a great day, see you tonight!

Woohoo I'm actually out in the fresh air!! Not left my flat since Saturday. Feels SOOO good to be out. Listening to Leann Womack "I hope you dance" on the iPod, so glad it's a sunny day on one of my "good" days. Sorry to sound overly happy, but having bad days of pain makes the good days even more special :)
