One thing I have learnt for sure browsing recent posts is that Clarbarr's boyfriend came round and made her casserole :) It had carrots and Brocolli

The custard pie sounded like a delicious treat, your one or two for the the week

I'm a very basic cook!! I just put chicken fillets, halved potatoes, fat sliced carrots, big slices of white onion and big slices of swede in the pot, add two sachets of colman's chicken casserole mix!! Slow cook for about 6 hours. Only two of my kids like casserole, so I normally make a big pot and freeze whatever's not eaten. I don't do calories!! I (try!) to eat sensibly and if (when!) I 'go off the rails', I try and be extra good the next day ... (this is probs the reason I'm overweight!!!)
I'm basic too, Jojo but you definitely sound more advanced than me! You dont have to count calories, just make sure you keep thinking quality calories, nutritionally, be aware, reduce fatty stuff and just estimate a caloric deficit for the week so on the weekend you can reward yourself with a treat. I like that you are trying to do that, now stop trying and just do

You already know what kind of portions you eat, so just reduce them slightly. For some of us, including me, calorie counting is unnecessarily stressful. I've been there. I soon realised I can just feel how much I am eating, and if I eat slow, I dont over eat, because the neuron brain signals has time to register when you are full or near full.
Also, increasing the exercise quotient will give you a fuller assurance that you are burning the calories.
Hope everyone is having a healthy week and I hope you are all monitoring yourselves with fortnightly measurements, keep on track :)
