Multiple bookings
Multiple bookings
I've seen messages asking people not to overbook, but when you see people offering 4 pairs of tickets to separate screenings of the same film, it makes you wonder. I don't want to come across as a grouch, but this really annoys me!

Re: Multiple bookings
To be fair, sometimes the first code might be at a cinema not very convenient then a better one comes along on a different code. Also when previews clash, you have to decide which one to go to.nickchanel wrote:I've seen messages asking people not to overbook, but when you see people offering 4 pairs of tickets to separate screenings of the same film, it makes you wonder. At least by offering it gives those who missed out an opportunity to go. Also some previews are for subscribers or members. Again by offering tickets it gives people a chance to see a film they might otherwise have missed.

Offering tickets is great. What I can't understand is having FOUR sets of tickets. I can't imagine why you'd need to do that. Two, if you live in London for instance, might be understandable. But 4 pairs?

- Preferred Cinemas: Any central London locations, Islington, Holloway (plus Hackney, Clapham and Greenwich on weekends)
Re: Multiple bookings
This is actually not very often that people have 4 sets of tickets to offer, but it indeed happens sometimes; the reason being that some of us share our details and book for each other without being sure which screening would be the best (for example).
It is relatively easy to cancel tickets (and get the tickets back in the original allocation) or put them offer to other FMUKers who may have missed out originally
