Re: Downton Abbey
I was a bit disappointed by the second season, but this one goes from strenght to strenght!

Beginning to wonder how Christmas Special (assuming there is one) will pan out this year. Maybe Mr Bates release will be left until then, I think there maybe only 3 more episodes this series as I think DVD is due for release 5th November

Yes, 3 episodes left.MrD wrote:Beginning to wonder how Christmas Special (assuming there is one) will pan out this year. Maybe Mr Bates release will be left until then, I think there maybe only 3 more episodes this series as I think DVD is due for release 5th November
It is also worth noting that the success of the show will lead to a spin off series. It will be a prequel telling the story of Robert and Cora's courtship.

I hope they know though where to draw the line with the show. However good it is !funthing29 wrote:Yes, 3 episodes left.MrD wrote:Beginning to wonder how Christmas Special (assuming there is one) will pan out this year. Lovely to have Bates home again and well what a lot going on with the males - I won't say too much as I know that Andrews will be watching it on catch up. Isn't baby Sybil just adorable? Only one week to go which is too sad but lets hope for a lovely Christmas episode.

Re: Downton Abbey
I can't believe the series is nearly at an end, it's my favourite part of the weekend, snuggled up on a Sunday evening on the sofa watching Downton with a hot chocolate mmmm.
Re: Downton Abbey
Downtown has turned into a TV Classic now. The quality of the writing through the cast and the overall production is immense. Wouldnt want overkill of the series so have a feeling/hope we may only get another 2 series but...and there is a rumoured prequel
