Yay, the Christmas thread is open!!! :xmas: :xmas: :xmas:

I've been listening to Christmas music (in particular Josh Groban's "Noel" album) since the start of the month already. I usually do my Christmas shopping throughout the year but haven't had much luck so far. I did go to the fantastic Spirit of Christmas fair in Olympia last week where I picked up some gifts and am going to the Country Living Christmas Fair this weekend and Ideal Home Show at Christmas next weekend, hopefully I'll find some more things.

Xmas cards (over 100) all written - some with letters inside and read to post. Costs a fortune when you add it all up even b*ying the stamps earlier in the year before the price went up! :(

Got some Xmas presents and the November birthday presents b*ght and wrapped yesterday. Feel like I am ahead of myself but then I always have some people that I just can think of a thing to b*y for and end up rushing at the last gasp. Don't like vouchers as it feels as if you haven't bothered and nowadays the company can go bust before they can use them. The eight grandchildren are all b*ght for by the mothers and I give them the money for the present and wrap it as I would have a clue nowadays what to b*y them as they all talk about things I haven't even heard of!!!

Very well organised! In the Netherlands we have special Christmas stamps for the holiday period that are cheaper than normal ones, it always surprises me that other countries don't have the same principle. The post is much less reliable during the holiday period because of the influx of cards/letters, so temporarily lowering the prices is the least they can do!

Stupid question: anyone has ever b*ght a onesie at Primark? That's the only idea I have for my mother and I'm wondering if it's worth it or not (quality ok for a Primark item...?)
There's a few very cool ones at Topshop, but quite expensive...

It's gonna be a crappy Christmas as my entire family has financial problems. I'd like to b*y funny presents to cheer them up.
