I think I'm not enjoying any movies lately because I've been under a lot of stress lately. Most times I have a headache while watching the movie, so I end up not enjoying anything. In hindsight, I admit that Lovely Bones is the sort of movie I normally like.

Saw this last night & must say I agree with the majority of posts, bit of a let down. I compare most werewolf/wolfman films to An American Werewolf In London which must have been made over 20 years ago. This was no better, in fact the story line was far worse. I give it 6/10

The film was ok neither terrible or great as I just found the plot to be messy in a few scenes.

I didn't find it particularly scary either but just more of a typical blood n gore fest. I'd give it a 6/10.

Well I had a very long day yesterday and did 2 films in the same day. I emjoyed Wolfman in a Hammer House of Horror way. It was probably a reimagining of the Oliver Reed Wolfman film from the early 60's. Having said that I don't think it will stand up to audiences today who want so much more than corny lines and a few FX. I did jump a few times
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks

It's a very average film, but not the complete mess that some people are making it out to be, and you have to give them some credit for trying to make a period horror film rather than setting it in some high school (although at the same time it was clear that quite a few gory bits had been inserted into film to make it more entertaining for the kids)

The film does have its problems though - You could spot the twist coming a mile off; the gypsy's proclamation about werewolves didn't really make much sense when you think about it within the context of the film; whilst the main problem was the fact that the werewolves didn't really look too scarey whenever you saw them close up. Probably something to do with their tiny little wolf faces peeking out amidst all that hair and mange...

The movie did not liver upto expectation. The storyline could have been done alot better. I would give it a 5/10, this is just a personal opinion. See 'The Wolfman' for yourself when it is released in a few days time.

Just caught the first screening at my local...
Wow. I waited 4 years for THAT?
Completely inconsistent, but at least Hopkins looked like he was having fun, and Weaving.

A shame that the usually amazing Emily Blunt came off like Kiera Knightly, and Benecio, wow, what happened there? He was a perfect fit, but that one shot in Sin City had more gravitas than the whole film here.

Add to that the OTT gore mixed with those ridiculous jump scares (I'm anti-jump scare, it's lazy and obvious) and the haphazard slower moments more in keep with the early half of last century's horror, the better stuff came from the tension, but it was constantly destroyed by a silly BOOM rather than a slow creep, far more spine tingling.

A complete failure on all accounts, alas, and so, with that, I think I'm gonna give up waiting for films nowadays, all films suck, except the films that don't.
