well until todays dirty oil post I never realised the co-op had a members section or did events, I've looked at ther list on the co-op site and they certainly seem to have a lot of events, most of them seem quite 'worthy' mind you, which is ok if that's your bag (jute re-useable made organically by ethical fair trade farm workers of course ) but this may be something to keep an eye on, you never know we may get the odd gem or two from them.

I like the Co-op, mainly for the Co-op 'divi' which I get twice a year - it is great!
I only bank with them, and shop there very occasionally (as it is open late, and is the nearest off licence!), but even so, it is really nice when the 'divi' arrives.
I don't think we do things like clothes swaps near me though...

have you checked out the events on the members page? As advised by a friend, I've only just joined today in case I get asked for a membership number at Dirty Oil but they have loads of events going on, it seems like a pretty constant thing.
