Etiquette of taking a toddler to a movie

I'm sure you will be fine with your little girl at the kiddies films, it's all about common sense and just by asking the question you clearly have that! If you do decide to go (if i was you i would) enjoy the film :-D

You will be fine, everyone has given good advice about sitting at the end of a row, towards the front etc. i stopped taking DS when he was 16 months to kids screenings as he wouldn't settle or sleep through parts. We just started taking him again about October last year so he was nearly 3.5. He sits through the entire film since we took him back with no problems. We've taken him to see Brave, Frankenweenie, Hotel Transylvannia, Rise of the Guardians and Wreck it Ralph all with no problems. Good luck but I'm sure she'll be fine and has lovely thoughtful parents. The worst experiences I have had during screenings have always been with other adults, never children.

Definitely agree with taking her to one of the kids am viewings on a Saturday morning, I took my 5 year old last week and it was full of children, from newborn to teenagers. No one cared if any of the kids were loud, or started crying, as that's what the viewings are for. I always sit at the back as my little one always ends up standing up or swapping seats, so I like to make sure he's not bothering anyone! If you can't make the kids am viewings, I tend to take my little ones to a very early showing on a weekday when you can pretty much guarantee there won't be many people there. I usually wait for the film to have been out for a few weeks to avoid any "mad rush" too. The way I see it is, if people want to go and watch a kids films, they have to appreciate that it's likely kids will be there, so they may have to put up with a bit of noise now and then!
