heavy snow fall in nottingham, snow storm !

over an inch fallen in 15 minutes. cat is not impressed.

The snow hasn't settled where I am but the blizzard-like conditions did make my walk pretty grim at times and I admit to not doing the full distance for once. It was bad enough just having to go out for shopping, without having to add another stint so as to get some exercise. Glad tomorrow is forecast to be slightly better - in the south-east, anyway.

I'm sorry for anyone struggling to commute in the areas which are affected. This however is one occasion when, much as I wish I had more work, I actually feel better off stuck at home.

There is sunshine and snow flakes at the same time here right now, it's bizarre. We had some snow coming down quite rapidly earlier, almost like hail.
