Casual Games

OK, nothing to do with films, just want some feedback / suggestions.

For those who do not know what the term "casual games" means, they are generally simple computer games, that are not highly involved nor emersive and can typically be played for a few minutes at a time....hence "casual".

Some examples: solitaire, minesweep, 'match 3' games (jewel quest-type) and 'hidden object' games.

These types of games can be purchased on cd or dvd for typically 3 or 4 quid from shops...but lots of websites also give them away for "free" usually supported by some advertizing, or if you are not carefull, some pesky toolbars or even a new homepage...grrr.

So to my point....my mum loves these games (!) & can devour them faster than I can find them, in particular, hidden object games. As mentioned, there are lots of sites where these are given away, but I would like some recommendations for good sites that don't overdo that adverts, are legal and don't trick you into reassigning your homepage.

The 2 I generally use & recommend are:

1. gametop.com -good, but old & not many new games added

2. myplaycity.com -excellent, lots of games & new ones added each day...just be sure to untick the toolbar & homepage options when installing. Great selection of hidden object games....mum has finished them all !

ps lots of sites let you play games for only a trial period, typically 30 minutes. Needless to say, but I'm not interested in those. Thanks again.

My kids use a site called Friv.com lots of mini games & puzzles, you don't sign up just go to the site and play.
