Hmm, I've tried again, but no longer get the message about the friend collecting points. And as tilly found, I seem to have some points myself, which I don't need. Not a success so far but not sure what I can do about it - ideas, please, anyone?

Did you join through Twitter or Facebook? If it was the latter it did work and it was possibly Rainey's that didn't go through as the Twitter login is currently having issues. The only way to give more referral points is by logging out of your Book of Mormon and Facebook accounts. Then to click the referral link again and join with another Facebook account.

You get points for joining and for visiting the site, so with little effort you've already gathered some yourself

FB, and unlike some, I have access to only one of those, but I don't recall reaching a stage at which even I was invited to join or sign up to anything for BoM itself, let alone to do anything about someone else's account.

As Rainey just explained she tried through Twitter that means you joining the rewards programme DID work. So sorry for the confusion earlier, clearly I hit refresh too late to accurately see where the news points had come from, but thanks so much :)

The Twitter login is unfortunately not working at the moment (they're working on fixing it!) but the Facebook one went through perfectly - thank you!
