Re: Oscars 2010
Thanks for this Elksi - I did not watch any of the Oscars (too late), and nor did I do predictions as I had not seen Crazy Horse and Hurt Locker (or even Avatar, but I was less worried by this). I thought Christoph Waltz was totally memorable in Inglorious Basterds, and am delighted to see that this
Like many, I am a little surprised at Sandra Bullock's Oscar, and very disappointed for Colin Firth.
Now who has won the prediction game???

Re: Oscars 2010
Another thanks Elski. Glad someone else actually liked Sandra Bullock and could see past all the drivel she'd done in the past, well predicted. My personal fave, An Education, didn't win but Hurt Locker was certainly deserving.

I think the results were quite predictable in the end, I think most of the favourites won

Re: Oscars 2010
I'm glad Hurt Locker (excellent film) beat Avator (average film with lots of hype) to the best Picture award!

Re: Oscars 2010
I am just glad I predicted the main 6 Oscars correctly, and that Up won best animation.

Congrats also to Sandra Bullock for winning a Razzie and Oscar in the same year! Woohoo!

It's always great to see Pixar win, but this year I've got to say there were 2 better films that missed out...Beate wrote:I am just glad...that Up won best animation.

Re: Oscars 2010
I stayed up, usually it's got it's moments, but the awards were predictable and the hosts annoying and unfunny.
I miss the times where the awards were actually being fought for.
