I don't live here, I live at the theatre! I saw one film on Monday, but I was at the theatre on Tuesday, Wednesday and this evening - and I shall go back on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
I think I have a problem...

For me it has seemed that work took over for the last 4 weeks. Then, sleeping when I could stop stressing.
Looking forward to having my evenings back to go sea (from the beach) fishing. It gives me time to stop and stare, and just talk to OH, poor man has a lot to deal with, with me.
Then there's the grandchildren to give quality time to.
Oh and seeing films....... duuhhhh

I don't think you have a problem at all, asamaic. I wish I could get to the theatre a lot more, but it's so expensive (especially when we are spoiled with free cinema!asamaic wrote:I don't live here, I live at the theatre! Gosh baty, what an unusual and relaxing way to spend your free time! I think you'll have a wonderful opportunity to 'switch off'. I never took you for an angler when we met at FMUKCON.baty wrote:Looking forward to having my evenings back to go sea (from the beach) fishing. There are quite a few review blogs/websites which cover the whole of the UK and that are always looking for writers... If you wanted to, I'm sure you could do a bit of writing and get some free tickets yourself.andrews wrote: I don't think you have a problem at all, asamaic. I don't recommend setting up your own reviews site unless you never want to sleep again.

Hah ha never judge a book by its cover. Only been going fishing for 2 nearly 3 years. I have a mean flick when it comes to casting. I also have a spinning rod, basicly cast out and reel in. I only caught one small flatty last summer and it went back into the sea, still a bit girlie about putting bait on which is probably why I like spinning. I find it all very calming and people are really helpful and friendly.andrews wrote:Gosh baty, what an unusual and relaxing way to spend your free time! edit
May 8th caught a small flounder and sea bass, both went back into the sea. OH caught 2 small ones (back to the sea) and one large flounder which we ate, yum.

Ha ha I wasn't in a coma and do have unshakeable will power. I was taught to concentrate and focus on the positive pain, focus on my breathing as it is a maximum of 16 deep breadths per contraction, timed my breathing and exercised everyday throughout my pregnancies plus I was lucky not to have any health problems. I had my first daughter in Germany and this is one of the pain relief options they teach plus you don't lie down to give birth which I imagine would be painful.eumenides wrote:Hypnosis for childbirth !?? Were you in a temporary coma ? Either that or you must have unshakeable will power.Diane65 wrote: I have never tried meditation but have tried self hypnosis instead of pain relief for childbirth and it does work.

My kids keep me pretty busy... with another one on the way, they may take up most of my time when I am not working or going to the cinema.

Looking after children is a full time job in itself!mojokola wrote:My kids keep me pretty busy... with another one on the way, they may take up most of my time when I am not working or going to the cinema.

Great that you can get some time to go to the cinema - hope you get lots of free tickets here.
