Saw today at Trafford - very full think few people didn't get in - however why arrive at 10.30????

Film was ok but not a patch on Croods - I found it a bit boring in places - 6/10.

Went to see Epic today and a packed Cardiff viewing, really enjoyed the film as did my son. Not an empty seat in the screening and it was nice to hear the children laughing out loud at the slug and snail characters. Thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend, kids will love it (grown up ones too)

Decent enough but not spectacular. 3D was used to good effect in places and it was colourful but lacked a spark. I would have liked more comedy or more scenes with the slug/snail. 6/10.

Recognised Christoph Waltz and Chris O'Dowd pretty easily but the rest were not impressive enough to be distinctive.

We thought this was good, quite a beautiful and colourful movie. And the snail & slug were funny! 7/10

Oh dear, those reviews from you guys don't sound too good at all, sounds lackluster at best... I think I'll just leave this one. I felt this would be similar to Tangled or Brave both of which I liked a lot despite their feminine appeal.

The fact that I can't remember a single character name nor recognized a single actor's voice probably illustrates how unmemorable this film is. Shame really. Why was it called Epic? Totally false advertising.

Maybe when the studio finished the animation and reviewed it they got the same feeling as you lot did and decided to name it as "Epic Fail", later on deciding to remove the last word as it may effect the ticket sales :D

He he. Well, you can name a film accurately while at the same time being ironic, as demonstrated by the well-named "Bee Movie", so maybe they should have gone down that route.

Saw this today at a very busy Manchester, thanks to akh43.

I'd seen the trailer and really didn't expect much, but thought it was enjoyable enough.

There were plenty of chuckles courtesy of the slug and snail, but probably not enough to make me see it again.
