I saw it in Edinburgh vue last night. There were about 20 folk there including some goth teens.
It was fairly awful it started ok and got ropier.

Lily cole was truly awful. Her American accent lasted about 3 scenes and then she gave up.

She was playing a 16 year old and was not in the least bit believable. The other girls were much better.

OH said it was bad but not as bad as the big wedding, so praise indeed!

Ill give it 4

Moth Diaries was OK. I'd give it 2.5 out of 5. It a bit of a teen film without much substance... unless you like metaphors about moving on with your life! Shame the Wimbledon screening today was only about 15% full though - looks like people grab tickets and then don't show up?

Really, really awful. Only 4 people in the showing today (2 of them being myself and OH). So bad it was nearly funny. So many plot holes it was ridiculous... Really not worth it!

I saw this today along with about 6 others in quite a large screen at Manchester's Trafford Centre.

It wasn't advertised at the box office, maybe they decided there was no point!

It's a pretty poor film.

On the plus side its not the kind of things that go bump in the night type film which gets churned out so much these days, Insidious, Sinister etc and er..... it's short.

Lily Cole gave a really odd performance, either she was expertly playing her character as mysterious or otherworldly or she's just terribly wooden.

I was going to give it an extra point for her line about having a talented musical father, which made me smile and think of Phil Collins, until I realised she's not his daughter in real life so I'm knocking that point off. :D

Saw it earlier today and thought it was both dull & tedious :wall: .

However, it wasn't quite as dull & tedious as 'The Eye Of The Storm' so it gets a 3/10 from me...

The best thing about watching The Moth Diaries today was the chicken sandwich and juice I had whilst watching it!
Mediocre at best and boy oh boy did it drag.

Saw this at Wimbledon this morning, I thought the film was ok. Annoying though the amount of people in that screening who seemed to bring a picnic with them.....even though there were hardly any people in the screen, lots of people around me scrunching crisp packets the whole time. Grrr!

Watched this last night at Westfield Stratford. Found film slow and lacked a plot. Even noticed people came in with pa*d tickets and I'm sure is prob over £12! Glad it was free for me!

Are you meant to exchange your print out for tickets, or just wave the piece of paper like a normal SFF screening? Am considering seeing this tonight... Depends how bored I get with the ironing, really! :p
