Sky - two movies a month?
Hi Guys!
I've just had a shock as I logged onto sky to get the latest cinema tickets! I received the below message.
"You can book up to two different movie screenings taking place in a calendar month. There are already two movies booked under your Sky iD in June.
If you would like to book this screening then please cancel any unwanted future bookings in June by clicking the Cancel button below. Alternatively, you can book a movie taking place in a different month."
So choose your screenings wisely from now on!
Cheers

Re: Sky - two movies a month?
This is laughable, any sky subscriber can create up to NINE guest accounts for themselves and movie subscribers can use them to book tickets, giving themselves an absolute limit of TWENTY screenings per month. Its a nuisance restriction rather than absolute. Its too easy to get around.99h13 wrote:Hi Guys!

Disgusting... It's based on first come, so why should u p*y over £70 a month on Sky and they set u an allowance of 2 films per month! Such a joke. Another account will now be set up for this!

Steve it's not meant to be a nuisance it's suppose to be a restriction, and if they were good at what they do they would fix that loophole straight away by restricting guest accounts from the free tickets area.
To be be honest I think it's fair play by sky, I have seen a few crying threads on the sky forums where p*ying movie customers could never secure a free a ticket by the time they came home from work as they where out of stock within a few minutes.

Re: Sky - two movies a month?
That is down to when the tickets are released. Sky could release between six and seven pm if they wanted. Most people are home from work then.

Re: Sky - two movies a month?
I think that Sky should release tickets early evening; it is much a much fairer way.

Re: Sky - two movies a month?
There was a period where Sky would release tickets just before a screening was due to start ie 5.30/6pm, most likely with the idea that those attending the screening would not be able to book tickets.

Doris should be familiar with that system - I'd be at the screening and she'd be at home waiting patiently to book tickets for my next screening... ahhh the drawbacks of living in the stix!funthing29 wrote:There was a period where Sky would release tickets just before a screening was due to start ie 5.30/6pm, most likely with the idea that those attending the screening would not be able to book tickets.
