I agree with this, it's really hard to get tickets for the children's films when you can get four tickets, then if one sky user has several other guest users that's an awful lot of tickets, my Maths hasn't improved since I left school (many year ago) so I won't work how any tickets you can get from one sky account. I was hoping to get monster inc tiks but as usual they were released in the morning and I missed out. Hopefully there may be some other preview screenings, otherwise I will have to break my own law and p*y for tickets. It's so long since I've done that, do they still accept cheques :D

I disagree because I'm always either commuting or on my way somewhere (and without internet) in the early evening :p

Yeah that would be difficult as well because often times we're all at screenings in the evenings, or on our way to and from.

Wouldn't it be great if sky were to release new tickets in the middle of their current screening? The logic being that those who are not at the screening would have a better chance than those already benefiting from attending a screening.
...obviously I would also confiscate all mobile phones / tablets on entry (life ban for anyone caught using one of these monstrosities)

Might suggest this to sky.

I could have sworn at one point I was told they used to do that and stopped because of complaints.

I wonder why? ;)

Surely not as many complaints as they receive from disgruntled customers who repeatedly fail to get tickets. Perhaps they could just send customers 2 x physical tickets through the post each month, to be redeemed at screenings.

That could never work for previews and even if you worked out the logistics of what small percentage of subscribers actually get issued tickets, you just increased the costs for every screening by a lot. It would probably work out at £1 for each envelope to be sent (i'm assuming an automatic letter stuffer here) including postage. That's several thousand pounds each month that currently doesn't need to be spent with the web only ticket issuing system.
