Well the city based codes will be given out more in local magazines/e newsletters etc..It definitely might be a trend they are following...

Presumably more specific codes will enable SFF to identify the sources (e.g. radio station, mags) which produce the best response?

I got an email to say please don't share this code with anyone and we are just inviting you and a handful of people to this screening. I wonder if they are becoming stricter?

I was checked for ID at Cineworld Shaftsbury on Monday and ID again today at Whiteleys. I do think things are changing abit with SFF. And all the talk pre the film screening from people nearby was about the ID checks

We always get checked at Cineworld Castleford but not in Showcase Leeds, City Screen York or Vue York...just in case you needed to know :p

We "normally" don't get checked in London unless it's little Panton Street.

Didn't get checked in Panton Street but heard that Whiteleys is famous for it. The other cinemas I frequent have never asked me for ID for a regular preview.
