Re: The Internship
Saw tonight in Manchester - what a total load of rubbish. There were little or no laughs and i virtually nodded off. It was so totally unbelievable and an appalling plug for google. I would have been gutted had i spent money to watch this drivel. 2/10

The Internship
Watched the internship today, absolutely hilarious. I have to say though that the idea of the guys getting a job at Google is a bit far fetched. Like the link between these two comedians

Re: The Internship
I thought it was very average. It had promising moments but these were mere flashes in what was a fairly dire film. Apart from a few moments, I just did not find it that funny. Was expecting more from a film with the main characters involved so feel a bit disappointed. 5/10.

Re: The Internship
Saw this tonight at Covent Garden.
Generally not a big fan of Vince Vaughn. I had no real expectations for this film and came out pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed it too.
Predictable buddy film where the under dogs overcome the odds to win. Guilty pleasure feel good film. Perfectly harmless and undemanding but with a little charm to it too. For once Vince Vaughn is not his grating self and watchable in this.
I have to say like others it is also one big ad for Google.

Re: The Internship
Went to the preview tonight, however the cinema had not received the film. The manager allow us to watch any film of our choice so we end up watched World War Z 3D instead. Furthermore we can come back to watch The Internship when it's out for free.

Re: The Internship
Weak film. It was really short on laughs and I found Vince Vaughn's character excruciatingly annoying. Too long and too unsubtle. 4/10.

Re: The Internship
A so-so film watched at the Trocadero. Similarities to Monsters Uni (MU is better) but not as funny - 6/10.
Incidentally, for the first time I was told that going forward named ticket holders only (they will ask for ID) will be allowed in due to the number of fake ticketers. Did anyone else experience this?

Re: The Internship
Brilliant comedy it was not. But it was also not the crude "boys will be boys" I was expecting, so came out of the cinema rather pleasantly surprised. Sure it was predictable and the story brought nothing new to the table, still I consider it a nice summer afternoon watch. Just wish it was shorter, because commercials really shouldn't be this long (but then it was a really good commercial, I think half the viewers now want to work for google, haha).

Re: The Internship
watched in belfast odeon. I have to say i really quite enjoyed this film, yes its an advert for google but so what - product placement is a big thing in the film industry these days.
i enjoyed the nerdy characters being brought out of their shells by vaughan and wilson and yes its very predictable but i had a few laughs and it had a warm and fuzzy feel good ending - made my night anyway!
and a well done has to go to the idiot who kicked and tripped over the seeing eye dog in the front row (big alsatian!) at the start of the screening - eyes open instead of looking for seats would have been his better option!
