Re: The Internship
I reallllllly enjoyed this movie tonight! I'm surprised how much I did enjoy it! Was laugh out loud in a lot of places and also lots of feel good moments too. shepards bush was packed and was a great atmosphere, especially the ladies in the middle at the front who were laughing all throughout , they added to my enjoyment of the movie as they were laughing at all the moments I was laughing at , was a great night and I probably would watch this movie again if the opportunity came up

Re: The Internship
Watched this at the Lee Valley Odeon last night and was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it.
I was expecting it to be one big advert for Google (which it pretty much was) but there are enough laughs throughout to make it worthwhile. i'd give it 6.5/10.

Re: The Internship
Seen this again last night with a friend. I think I enjoyed it more on second viewing. Strange for me.
There was a couple of odd moments where people came in with 'tickets' looking for specific seats.... the place wasn't full but they made the occupants get up and move. Then people were standing by our row loudly saying 'there are people in our seats', everyone in the row ignored them and they sat in the empty seats opposite us. Anyone else have fee payers / real ticket holders in the audience???

Re: The Internship
Initial thoughts about this film were exactly the same - 30 minutes in I was preparaed to get up and go. Then it got better !!yogi wrote:I just left this screening tonight after about half an hour.
It wasn't annoying or offensive just ok, probably summed up by whispered conversation with OH
"Are you enjoying it? Do you want to go?"
"It's ok, what about you?"
"I haven't laughed once yet"
"Oh, is it supposed to be a comedy!"
Cue sharp exit.
Inoffensive fun, feelgood movie...
Yes it did seem like a long advert for Google but who cares - Vaughan and Wilson work well together 7/10

Audiences deserve better than to be fed a load of bland propaganda about the greatness of multinational corporations. The success of films like this is detrimental to cinema as a whole.

Re: The Internship
Yes bournemouth odeon had p*ying people so we were not allowed any premier seats. These people were odeon membership card holdersjojojoanne wrote:Greenwich Odeon did last night.baty wrote:Seen this again last night with a friend. I think I enjoyed it more on second viewing. Strange for me.

Unless the seats were clearly marked as being designated for certain groups, why should anyone have to move? Was it cinema staff who made them get up?jojojoanne wrote:Greenwich Odeon did last night.baty wrote:Seen this again last night with a friend. I think I enjoyed it more on second viewing. Re: The Internship
Because p*ying customers usually have assigned seating, so it's only fair they get what they pa*d for/picked. To make it easier though they should've let p*ying customers in first and then the SFF/Metro "plebs" could sit in the remaining seats.don_datta wrote:Unless the seats were clearly marked as being designated for certain groups, why should anyone have to move?
