There's my full review.
Its actually funny you say that though. Last year i went to FMX in Germany (its pretty much Comic Con but for CGI/VFX), and i got talking to some people from Pixar there, and they said that before they got b*ght by Disney they felt like a family, focusing on story first and working to make the best film they could and had huge passion for the work they did. After they got b*ght by Disney, it became a factory with them just working on product after product and turning into a production line mentality.

I agree with both the comments and the excellent review. They ring so true and are so sad.

I'm sure Pixar is still full of incredibly talented people and they would struggle to make a truly bad film, but now they only make good films rather great films.

I was fairly underwhelmed by Monsters University, it just wasn't in the same league as Monsters Inc.

People said about Epic that if you call a movie Epic you are setting expectations unreasonably high, well if every 5 mins your movie has a sign/poster/jumper with 'OK' on it like MU did you better make sure it's better than OK which unfortunately this isn't.

The only glimmer of hope is that the next 4 Pixar movies appear to all be original stories. Fingers and everything else crossed for a return to form :cross:

^ The next two are originals (The Good Dinosaur and Inside Out) but after that it's Finding Dory.

Went to see it today at the Metrocentre, me and my son (12yrs) both enjoyed it. The kids will love it.

Did not meet the high expectations I had after seeing the teasers last year. Waste of potential, but I guess it'll still work very well with the kids.

Saw this on Saturday. Not much of a fan of kids films, only take my son and/or sister, but it was good - I thought little Mike was soooo cute!

Went to see this tonight mainly to escape family issues! :p
While it is colourful and entertaining, it is nowhere as good as Monsters Inc. I was disappointed as I'd been really looking forward to this film. :(
The story is too long and drawn out. 2 hours for a cartoon aimed at kids is very ambitious. The few kids who were in the cinema were a bit restless and talking at times. There was problem with too much detail in the story which kids don't want.
I'm glad I only pa*d £5 to see this using the Showcase Insider card.
I will probably watch it again on tv but doubt if I'd b*y the DVD unless it's really cheap!

I enjoyed this, liked the little throwbacks to the original and the character development. Completely missed that Mr. ROR was Nathan Fillion though.

Also really loved the short, though it did remind me of Paperman. It had me from the very beginning. I have never felt so much for an inanimate object (aside from perhaps my television).

Loved this film! A great popcorn flick, with some great humour!

I think quite a lot of this would of been lost on kids though (such as the american terms)

8/10
A horse walks into a bar and the bartender asks, "Why the long face?"

A pony walks into the bar and whispers, "I'll have a beer, please." The barkeeper asks, "Why are you whispering?".
"I'm a little hoarse."
