Well I can already see how they will drag this series out if it avoids being cancelled. More black outs! That's a good idea though. SO we should get a resolution for the first blackout and see how the current flashforwards pan out in the first season. But the key element I still feel is crucially missing from this series despite a few good story driven episodesis, is the lack of dynamic characters. There isnt anyone that I really care about or even hate enough as a bad guy. Only Dominic Monaghan (Charlie from Lost) has charisma and I hope we get to see plenty more of him.

Having said that, I really look forward to its return from hiatus!

A lot of American TV shows have a mid-season break. It never used to affect us much in the UK because we always got US series long after they finished. These days, however, a lot of US shows like 'FlashForward' and 'Lost' are now shown much sooner in the UK, sometimes as little as a few days later. So we have to suffer the mid-season breaks as well. It can be annoying but the alternative is waiting several months (as is the case with the current series of 'Heroes' running on the BBC)

They make you wait so it goes from Sept all the way to May when they have the finale. I'd hate following British timing. I was watching Brothers and Sisters on Channel 4 the other day and I couldn't even remember when I saw that particular episode as it was so long ago!

It's good to see the Brits finally catching up though.

The break in this series wasn't scheduled at all and rook the US audience by surprise.

The recap is on Fiver at 8.00pm so we get to see it before the main event anyway. Repeats are tuesday fiver 9.00pm, thursday five 11.05pm, probably more at the weekend and very likely monday on fiver just before the next episode.

Isn't that on the same time as the Secret Millionaire? Might get in hot water with the OH who loves that show.
