Iv just come back from watching this film. I loved it. It made me laugh. Can't remember the woman's name that played Mullins but she was brilliant. I highly recommend this film. The only warning I have is if you don't like swearing then this films not for you.

Packed Edinburgh tonight.

Really enjoyed this laugh out loud comedy and it was good to see Sandra Bullock excercising her comedy genes again.

Perhaps more swaering than was strictly necessary but that's a small grumble. It was really funny and we both really enjoyed it.

My only gripe, I got a crick in my neck trying to keep away from the person sitting next to me who really needed to have been eating many mints if you get my drift. Not so good!

Cineworld Unlimited is cheating! ;-)

Yeah it really surprised me seeing a couple people talking about skipping it because they didn't seem to like it. Maybe with this one we got lucky and people recognized that it wouldn't be their thing and didn't go?

Very happy to have got tickets for this as the film works well and is very funny. As other have said, Bullock and McCarthy make an excellent comic pair and have good onscreen chemistry. There were quite a few laugh out loud moments. Definitely worth seeing, even a second time.

Really, really surprised to see the universally great feedback this flick is getting from FMUKers, let's just hope you aren't building up the expectations of those of us that haven't seen it (yet ;) ) to unrealistic levels :cross: ...

Saw The Heat in the heat sponsored by Heat magazine. Film was lukewarm to hot. Reasonably funny rather than hilarious. Small tweaks here and there and it would have been a fantastic movie. Overdid it slightly with the swearing (and I loved Ted), and I felt it sometimes tried a bit too hard with the wisecracks.

Good lighthearted summer comedy, may have been a bit predictable, but there were lots of laughs! 3.5 out of 5 stars.
