How can you say people have jumped on the bandwagon? You don't know what reviews people read prior to seeing a film so can hardly claim they are just agreeing with what other people have said.

Glad you enjoyed the film but please don't cast aspersions on those who didn't. Critical reviews wouldn't sway me one way or the other. I make up my own mind and I did not like the film. That's my honest opinion and hope you can accept it as such -- just as I can accept yours.

Better than I feared, but too long and marred by some ludicrously OTT action sequences; I would have preferred them kept to a more realistic level, along the lines of the ambush of the Rangers near the beginning, which worked very well. (That said, as the story is being narrated in flashback by Tonto to a small child, you could assume he's exaggerating large chunks of it.)

The Bristol screening started late - glad to see it wasn't the only one. According to the staff, 6.30pm was the time specified by the company that arranges the screenings.

I quite liked it. It was better than I was expecting but I found the tone at times quite inconsistent.

...and what did Tonto give the small child in exchange for the nuts, Beate? Lol.

Having read about the blockbuster failure of this film, I was very pleasantly surprised. Some odd qirky moments, rabbits !!! but I really enjoyed it and had several smiles. I thought the first major stunt was epic, and worth the effort. The orchestration when the william tell overture kicked in was suitably inspiring and I would have to say, one to watch. I did not notice the length, and agree title should be "Tonto and Silver" . Watch out for when Ed Milliband is referred to as Kimosabi in current media/parliament,,, you heard it here first :)

I was merely making a general comment on what I think appears to have happened.

It seems strange to me that the media slated this film and then a wave of poor reviews seemed to follow.

Everyone's entitled to thier own opinion. I just hope that's what people are giving.

I thought Funthing and I made it crystal clear that we were giving our own opinions -- why do you doubt that, Spyder_Webb????

I am not casting aspersions on people who didn't enjoy the film.

I was not singling out any specific review, or in deed any specific person, and was certainly not referring to any reviews on this forum.

I fully agree that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, just as I am and just as you are, and I respect an honest opinion from anybody.

When did I say I doubted the opinion of you and Funthing?
