pa*d Film Work!

#1 Post by caitlinmorton » Tue Jul 23, 2013 7:23 pm

Hey guys!

I know I've been blowing up this group recently, but this time I CAN p*y YOU. :)

I've been asked to do a health and safety training video for Royal Holloway, and am starting to put things together. I've got a few positions to hire (all pa*d) and thought I'd come here first. Unfortunately, its under industry standard p*y, because the budget they gave me won't allow industry rates. HOWEVER, travel to and from Egham (if needed, if you're Egham based I can't p*y you travel) would be provided (peak train fare as well as return tube fare for Zones 1-3, or gas money up to this amount if you're willing to travel, so 19.60), as well as food during the shoot (RHUL catered stuff, so not entirely terrible :D ) and a copy of the film once its done (DVD, digital, hell, I'll give you both!).

I want the shoot to be for about 2 days at the beginning of September, pending what the schedule looks like, likely the 2nd and 3rd, but that's still TBA. I'm trying to leave as much time as possible between the shoot and my dissertation due date (12 September), for obvious reasons, and if that's not possible then will schedule it after, so the 16th and 17th. I'm looking for (I hope) a Runner, Focus Puller, Clapper Loader/Data Wrangler, and MAYBE a 1st AD (still haven't decided how I'm handling that, but currently its in the budget). They're all pa*d different amounts.

If interested PM me and I will send you my e-mail address so you can contact me with your CV, positions interested in, and availability by, shall we say, Friday?

Let me know if you have any questions. :)

Cheers,
Caitlin xx

A couple of additions: I should make it clear that all jobs are above national minimum wage, I wouldn't p*y less that that.

I am also looking for a very qualified director of photography, sound recordist, sound mixer with own suite (or access to one), editor who can colour grade (with own or access to suite), a couple of actors, a voice over artist, boom operator, and potentially also a makeup artist (to which kit expenses would be pa*d as a flat fee on top of salary and travel). For these I would ask for showreels. The Boom operator does not need a showreel.

Any questions about payment, etc...please get in touch.
