The film was full of spectacle and great action scenes, and, mostly, this was a lot better than critics have said. Occasionally the story goes a bit limp and couldn't stand Depp's character, but this was a pleasant surprise. 7/10

Maybe having low expectations contributed but I actually found this film a lot of fun and really enjoyed it. I liked the action and thought the humour was great. Thumbs up from me 8/10

Low expectations after reading the reviews but I liked it. It looks like I'm in the minority but I liked Tonto and its a surprisingly reasonable 7/10

Actually thought it was a lot of fun, great action (especially the last 30 minutes) and good banter between Depp and Hammer. A misjudged film I feel.

o/ I totally agree with you, thommojo03!
The media reviews can really kill a film and it would be a shame for folk to not see Lone Ranger based on some journalist's view.

Sadly, this is not doing well at all in the USA. Disney have lost $190 million on this one. I still want to go and see it.

Went to see this last night and didn't think it was the disaster that many critics have made it out to be. The storyline was relatively coherent, it had some great set pieces and everyone involved (including Mr Depp) was decent enough performance wise.

Admittedly it could have benefited from not breaking the two hour mark but as popcorn flavoured movies go, I've see far worse so this gets a respectable 7/10 from me...
