You know what? I'll try. Since its been so lovely outside I will do my best to make it down. Just me. And I'll bring some drinks? Doesn't seem like anyone is bringing those yet. Probably Shloer. I love Shloer. :)

Yay! Andrew. Falconer and Avisute just cancelled so at least there'll be 8 of us to get rid of the mountain of food I've got in my fridge! I hadn't even heard of Shloer before but it sounds nice.

Lol its sparkling juice! Mainly grape, but this time of year they tend to have a couple of summery kinds as well. I'll bring a couple different ones. My favorite is Red Grape. :)

Probably won't be cold though. I don't have a cooler. :/

We all had a fabulous day and what a superb spread. Hopefully prettyxcool will post the pictures later.
It was lovely to meet caitlinmorton for the first time and my good friends MrGlass, prettyxcool and Beate plus OH. I wish you had said earlier re my courier service as just left London heading back to Manchester and having to devour all the cakes by myself. We were all saying we are up for a trip to Scotland if you'll have us.
Thanks to everyone for all the delicious food and for your lovely company at the picnic.

Obviously I made way too much food and am sitting on a lot of pasta and fruit salad right now - and the watermelon got carried all the way back! Thanks very much to everyone for coming and providing food, drink (loved the Shloer!) and company, plus MrG for helping me wheel back my leftovers and having a quick look at my computer as well. We had such good weather and such a lovely spot under a tree, I could have stayed there forever - maybe had a little nap there as well, LOL. And I just realised I had my camera on me but never took any pictures! Never did see PXC's so hope they are good.
Have a good trip back to Manchester, Diane65!

Thanks to Beate for organising, we had such a lovely time, great company including MrG who I had not expected, the weather was perfect, and there was plenty of yummy food provided by Beate, dessert provided by Diane65 and Shloer provided by caitlinmorton (a special thanks for carting it all the way from Hammersmith - those bottles are not light!), makes my little fare insignificant! :D

Here is the lovely spread

The lovely picnic ware deserves a mention too (from Diane65):

We would love to have you all up here in Scotland. Don't know if we could ensure the weather would be as good as you had today but we could maybe kill a haggis and provide a good meal!! ;)

I have meet Diane65 and caitlinmorton when they have ventured up north to Edinburgh so it would be lovely to meet more of you - although will see a few of you in October.
