I tried to sleep but wasn't sucessful. I really didn't like any of the characters at all, especially Imogen. I really hated the way they pronounced her name btwTheBoySeggy wrote:Slept mostly. Laughed once (maybe twice). Very poor movie 3/10
3/10 for the Blondie Songs

Re: Girl Most Likely
If I never hear the name " Imogeeeeen " again I will die happy. What a meh film that was. I would have left except that I was trapped at the end of a row. Hearing Blondie was pleasant but apart from the walk to and from the cinema I didn't feel the benefit. 3/10 for Matt Dillon and the music. Wish they'd shown Blue Jasmine in the South.

Re: Girl Most Likely
Three days later and I still can't make up my mind. I didn't hate it, but I didn't really like it either. Perhaps the best way to describe it is as the film that had potential, at the planning stage it may have been the 'film most likely', unfortunately then they shot it, the editing happened and it ended up just average.

Re: Girl Most Likely
Not a funny nor feel-good nor girlie film, what was it? It was hard to like any of the characters. It would have been a total waste of an evening except the Charles Worthington/Woman and Home goody bag sort of made up for it but then on the other hand the weird red carpet photographs cancelled that out, how odd.

How is it set in the 80's when there were iphones and tablets about and the newer style hybrids New York taxi cabs?valda wrote: ps didn't even realise it was set in the 80's!
back from Glasgow Quay where they usually use the smallest screen possibly. This isn't as bad as I thought but it was also not that great. Nice to see Darren Criss in a film. Average 5/10

ooh my bad, Alothyian mentioned the 80's wardrobe and I presumed it was set in the 80's

Re: Girl Most Likely
Great company of FMUKers . . .shame about the film!
As others have said, there was the potential of a story but it never really made it! I didn't feel anything for the characters and I couldn't decide whether it was supposed to be a serious film or not!
After viewing this, I further appreciate Blue Jasmine which had some similar themes but handled in a better way.
The goodie bags on the seat were a nice touch . . .must wash my hair before tomorrow night! Moggers will have hair in the best condition judging from the number of goodie bags she and DD managed to collect at the end!
Marks 4/10
